Departure
Note from Elizabeth: Mom boarded her flight to Paris tonight with her friend, Fran McAllister. Here is Mom with all her hiking gear on her way out the door. Bon voyage (or buen viaje), Mom!
Hi Gill... I have just concluded a most pleasant time reading through your journey notes from the beginning right up to a few days ago. You write expressively, and I feel I can hear the birds, puff up those steep paths and feel your blisters. It sounds like the camaraderie of other 'buen caminas' provides an added bonus to your days and evenings. Too bad about those crazy siesta times interfering with some great tapas opportunities, but all the better when you do find an opportunity. Stay well and strong and positive. I look forward to your next entry. Marj xo
